Love the understated celebration! When Fashanu was at Hearts I went to see them play Partick Thistle but he was not in the squad. Remarkably during the first half he decided to leave the rest of the Hearts contingent in the directors box and clambered into the stand were the Partick supporters were sitting. To their great credit , speaking as a Celtic man, the Partick supporters left him in peace. I spoke to my brother about this after the game and we both sensed that this was a young man who seemed to be in a lot of pain. When I heard of his death I thought it was sad but I was not suprised.
